Let’s speak Greek! Join our virtual class and brush up on your Greek while mixing with students from all over the world.
Once a week, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, Alexandria Institute organizes Greek conversation online courses at Pre-Intermediate, intermediate and advanced levels.
Pre-intermediate: This is the right level for you if you understand sentences and frequently-used expressions related to very basic personal and family information, shopping, places of interest, employment.
Intermediate: This is the right level for you if you can talk about your daily routine and past accomplishments. You are not fluent and you do not have a lot of experience in speaking.
Advanced: This is the right level for you if you are used to speaking Greek and have a good grasp of grammar. You want to maintain this high level and improve your vocabulary.
Speak Greek and hang out with fellow Greek language learners from all over the world. The groups are small enough (3-6 students) so that everyone gets the chance to talk.

Your teacher is qualified in teaching Greek as a foreign language, with years of teaching experience obtained in our courses in Athens, on the Greek islands and online.
Courses take place on a specialized teaching platform which allows you to speak Greek from the comfort of your office or home. It’s almost like sharing a room with the instructor and the rest of the students – you can talk to each other, see each other, share files and write things down. In case you fail to show up for a class, it’s okay – you will be sent a recorded copy of this particular session!
Each course lasts for 12 weeks, with one lesson per week. This means that you can complete the course in just 3 months or carry on to the next 12-week course. If you can’t attend the course at the proposed times, please let us know which time period is convenient for you.
No worries; you can still join the group provided there are places available and pay the balance for the remaining lessons. Contact us for further information.
