Alexandria Institute organizes a Creative Writing Workshop in Greek for non-native speakers. The workshop is aimed at participants from level B1 upwards that would like to improve their language skills in modern Greek as a foreign/second language in a creative and amusing way.

The Workshop aims at familiarizing participants with various textual genres (factual, descriptive, narrative, argumentative) as well as rendering them capable of creating their own short literary texts (poetry, short story, fairy-tale, one-act play, vignette etc.).

During the course, we will generate ideas by applying various methods such as the image technique, the text-starting point, the brainstorming technique etc. Then, we will write down our ideas and compose our texts, collaboratively or individually.

Finally, we will read them aloud, comment on them and edit them together. The texts we like the most will be published on our Facebook page.
